Willy’s Trucking Service is a Canadian owned and operated transportation company who has been experiencing significant steady growth over the past few years.

We service businesses with daily and weekly freight requirements north of HWY 16 in Alberta and B.C. that want timely delivery and competitive pricing.  We build relationships with these businesses that have local decision making and we specialize in mid/last-mile delivery.  We operate out of Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Peace River, and Fort St John and have recently expanded into Edson, Hinton, Valleyview, and Calgary!

We are currently looking for a Shunt Driver to work out of our Edmonton location working a 7:00pm to 11:00pm shift, Monday through Friday.

Summary:

• Shunt trailers in yard
• Set-up line haul trailers for drivers
• Drive-in professional manner, following rules and regulations

• Willing to learn

Qualifications:

• Must have a class 1 driver license
• Provide a current (within 3 months clean 5 year driver's abstract)
• Great customer service to customers
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced ever changing environment
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Be able to speak, read and write clearly in English
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
