Looking for a full time Class 1 Driver to help contribute to our success on our established routes or on demand to various locations throughout the Yukon.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consolidating and securely loading freight into truck
- Complete fully and accurately all necessary paperwork
- Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Loading & Unloading your truck
- Local pickup and Delivery of goods
- Short-haul (inter-territorial) driving
- Operating a forklift and pallet jack
- Assisting others in the loading/unloading process
- Delivery of goods, obtaining POD's
- Maintain log books in accordance to Transport Canada Regulations
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Required Skills, Experience and Abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred
- Must have valid Class 1 driver’s license in good standing
- Three or more years northern driving experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to use pallet jack to push/pull heavy pallets
- Must be able to unload multiple pallets at a time by hand
- Experience working and driving off-highway in remote setting
- Experience operating in adverse conditions
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
Salary
Competitive with signing bonus, depending on experience. Will be discussed during the application process.

Salary: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
