Triple Eight Transport Inc is looking for reliable, experienced Class 1 Container Truck Drivers working out of Surrey - Kelowna, BC
The ideal truck driver:
- Have a valid Class 1 license
- Must have 1 or more verifiable years of container handling and driving experience.
- Can provide clean drivers abstract, valid within the past 30 days and good references.
- Have good knowledge of driver log books, inspection reports (pre, en-route and post trip) and trip reports
- Valid Port Pass is preferred but not required
- Port environment working experience is preferred.
- Must be available to work during night shift and weekend.
- Security Criminal Record Check will be required prior to commencement of work
- Comply with all Transport Canada rules and regulations including good knowledge of city roads, and awareness of road restrictions
- Candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Class 1, Driver's License with a clean driving record
- 2-3 years of previous driving experience.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Positive attitude and presentation.
- Good knowledge of the lower mainland area and all ports could be helpful.
