Job requirements:
- Must have class 1 driver’s license.
- At least 6 months Class 1 truck driving experience. Those with less experience will also be considered.
- Must be able to work late night and early mornings.
Job Duties:
- Do local deliveries daily.
- Operate tractor-trailer combination.
- Conduct pre-trip inspection on tractor-trailer before every journey.
- Communicate regularly with the dispatch office for instructions and updates.
- Submit paperwork on time for the deliveries.
- Obey and follow Department of Transport of Canada rules on safety and hours of driving.
Remuneration:
- $22-24/hr and 50 hours per week. Overtime after 60 hours per week.
- MSP Reimbursement after 90 days of service.
- Extended Medical and Dental Coverage after a probationary period of 90 days.
