PBX Logistics Ltd. is urgently seeking Long Haul Truck Drivers to start work immediately! Based out of our home terminal in Burnaby, BC, we haul freight and frozen food throughout Canada and the United States.

New Drivers Welcome!

This is a team driving position for CAN > USA triangle routes.  Drivers can expect to be on the road for 5-8 days at a time. You will be required to drive from BC to California/Arizona and then from California/Arizona to Ontario/Quebec, and back to BC through Canada. Our top-performing driver teams can complete three trips per month.

PBX Driver Package

• Wage: $25.50/hour
• Hours per week: 60 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent Year-Round positions. No Seasonal Layoffs!

Benefits:

• Layover Allowance after 24 hours ($100 to each driver)
• Paid Drop Bonus ($20 to each driver per drop)
• Paid Pick-Up Bonus ($20 to each driver per pick-up)
• Extended Medical Benefits (after 90 days completed)

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
• Valid passport and ability to lawfully enter the United States
• Drivers will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test (US DOT requirement). The US DOT Drug Test Includes Cannabis.
• New Drivers Welcome. No Formal Education Required. No Experience Required, We Have Trainers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate and drive company trucks as part of a two-person team to transport goods to locations across Canada and the United States; Perform pre-trip inspections of the truck, vehicle systems and equipment, including cold storage, brakes, tires and lights; If necessary, perform emergency roadside repairs; Oversee the condition of vehicle equipment, loading and unloading of goods and ensuring the safe delivery of cargo; Ensure that all documentation and permits are in order when driving US routes; Ensure the accurate recording of cargo information, distance logs, fuel consumption and expenses into log books; Communicate with company dispatcher and other company drivers
