PBX Logistics Ltd. is hiring Long Haul Truck Drivers to start immediately.  We have team driving positions available for qualified applicants.  

We deliver high-value perishable goods, including seafood and produce that are required to be delivered using team service only.

MUST BE WILLING TO BE AWAY FROM HOME FOR UP TO 10 DAYS AT A TIME WITH ON THE ROAD RESETS.

MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO HANDLE MULTIPLE LTL DROPS IN LOS ANGELES, SAN FRANCISCO, NEW YORK CITY, CHICAGO AND BOSTON

We Drive Team Triangles from BC to Arizona, California, to Quebec and back to BC.

Wage: $30.00/hour

Hours per week: 60 hours per week

Benefits: Full Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Benefits Package Available after 90 days

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent Year-Round Positions

Additional Compensation

-      Safety and Performance Bonus: $0.02 - $0.10/mile based upon meeting company’s defined safety, fuel efficiency and on-time delivery objectives

-      Layover Allowance after 24 hours ($100 to each driver)

-      Paid Drop Bonus ($20 to each driver per drop)

-      Paid Pick-Up Bonus ($20 to each driver per pick-up)

Job Requirements:

•  Valid BC Class 1 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement

•  Valid passport and ability to lawfully enter the United States

•  Drivers must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test as per US DOT requirements (US DOT Drug Tests include Cannabis, regardless of its legal status in Canada)

•  Must be willing and able to be on the road and away from home for up to 10 days at a time.

•  Must be willing and able to handle multiple LTL drop-offs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago and Boston – with some extremely tight city parking and delivery locations

•  No Minimum Education Requirements

•  No Experience Required. We will Train and have Trainers Available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 1.   As part of a two-person driving team, operate and drive company trucks to transport goods to various locations across Canada and the United States;

2.   Perform pre-trip inspections of the truck, vehicle systems and equipment;

3.   Perform emergency roadside repairs, if necessary;

4.   Oversee the condition of truck equipment, the unloading and loading of goods, and ensuring the safe delivery of all cargo;

5.   Ensure all documentation and permits are in prescribed order when driving US routes;

6.   Perform accurate recording of cargo information, distance logs, fuel consumption and expenses into log books (both physical and electronic);

7.   Maintain communication with dispatcher and other drivers;
