Salary: $7,000–$8,500 CAD a month

$3000 - Signing Bonus:

$1000 payable upon hiring, $1000 payable upon 3 Month Probation, $1000 upon completion of 6 months of employment.

Product Line Holding & Logistics is an Asset-based Carrier in Delta, BC, and is primarily focused on offering freight management services across North America with our own fleet of Dry Vans.

Product Line Holding & Logistics is looking for safety-driven, energetic, and customer service-oriented class 1 Local Company Drivers.

The Class 1 local Truck Driver will be responsible for picking up / delivering across North America. Start times will vary, depending on the run and the day. Deliveries can be direct to store or full trailer load drops. Must do proper Pre -trip and post trip inspections.

WE REQUIRE:

• Class 1 DL
• Clean drivers abstract
• Positive, professional attitude
• Basic Security Clearance
• You must be able to pass a drug test
• English proficiency (oral and written)
• Experience driving through mountainous terrain

Responsibilities:

• Monitor vehicles performance and mechanical fitness
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle, and inspect tires, lights, and brake adjustments.
• Be able to keep equipment clean, with the knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Must be able to use a GPS system, atlas , and receive and relay information with Dispatch.
• Correctly load and unload (or assist) 53' Dry vans
• Provide excellent client satisfaction by being on time, and courteous
• Operate the unit in a safe manner AT ALL TIMES, obeying the rules of the road, MVA, DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Be able to cross CANADA / US border and travel for extended periods (generally 10 to 14 days).

Documentation:

• Drivers logbook (ELD)
• Bill of Ladings
• Pre-trip, en-route, post-trip inspections, trans-border documentation, maintenance and repair reports.
