Dragon Trucking Ltd. is hiring Long Haul Truck Drivers to start immediately.  We have team driving positions available for qualified applicants.

Wage: $30.00/hour

Hours per week: 60 hours per week

Benefits: Full Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Benefits Package Available after 90 days

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent Year-Round Positions

Additional Compensation

• Safety and Performance Bonus: $0.02 - $0.10/mile based upon meeting company’s defined safety, fuel efficiency and on-time delivery objectives
• Layover Allowance after 24 hours ($100 to each driver)
• Paid Drop Bonus ($20 to each driver per drop)
• Paid Pick-Up Bonus ($20 to each driver per pick-up)

Employee Referral Program Available - $1,000 Bonus for Referred Drivers

Job Requirements:

• Valid BC Class 1 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
• Valid passport and ability to lawfully enter the United States
• Drivers must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test as per US DOT requirements
• No Minimum Education Requirements
• No Experience Required. We will Train and have Trainers Available.

‍Duties and Responsibilities:

1. As part of a two-person driving team, operate and drive company trucks to transport goods to various locations across Canada and the United States;
2. Perform pre-trip inspections of the truck, vehicle systems and equipment;
3. Perform emergency roadside repairs, if necessary;
4. Oversee the condition of truck equipment, the unloading and loading of goods, and ensuring the safe delivery of all cargo;
5. Ensure all documentation and permits are in prescribed order when driving US routes;
6. Perform accurate recording of cargo information, distance logs, fuel consumption and expenses into log books (both physical and electronic);
7. Maintain communication with dispatcher and other drivers;
