A truck driver that is safe, highly skilled, and professional. They must always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity. We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic and willing to do long-haul trips and then jump into auction life.
Car hauling experience is not required, training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload vehicles in a safe manner
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for defects and damages prior to loading.
- Deliver vehicles to customers damage free, in a safe and timely manner
- Document and log work/rest periods
- Comply with DOT rules and regulations and company policies and procedures
- US/CA Border crossing and customs
- Ability to work with paperwork and learn custom entry requirements
- Report all accidents and/or violations
- Attend auctions and assist, move, stage, and push cars
Job Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years of experience
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be able to pass a road and loading test
- Acceptable MVR
- Ability to drive into the US for long-haul trips
- Automotive mechanic abilities would an asset
