- Safety - Drivers have the Right to Decide and assess the situation to determine if it's safe to drive
- Equipment - Bison tractors are on average under two years old; three years for trailers
- Compensation - Safe mile bonus paid quarterly, regional premiums, fuel subsidy, benefits and more
- Pay - Bison Company Drivers are paid weekly
Position Profile:
- Running open-board primarily in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan and Manitoba
- Out on the road seven days at a time, followed by seven days off
- Might be able to arrange a four day on and four day off or five day on and five day off position in lieu
- Average of 6,000 to 7,000 miles per month
- Non-smoking truck-share
Candidate Profile:
- Company Driver with tractor-trailer experience
- Must reside in Grande Prairie or surrounding area
- Valid Class 1/AZ Licence is required
- Must be able to drive Highway 1 and Highway 3 in B.C.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Reliable, flexible and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
