We currently have a position available for a Class 1 City P&D Driver & Short Line Haul Driver in our Grande Prairie location. This position goes from Tuesday to Saturday and will have a start time of 3:00 am.

We operate out of Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Peace River and Fort St. John!

Responsibilities:

• Operate/drive delivery vans in and around Grande Prairie and short line haul runs.
• Load and deliver freight effectively and efficiently.
• Handle all shipments in a timely manner.
• Verify manifests and report any errors.
• Review and inspect packages. Report damages to the dock supervisor.
• Drive in a professional manner, following the rules and regulations of the road.
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Have a positive attitude, be willing to learn and able to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Have excellent time management and organization skills.
• Be able to work independently and take direction as needed.

Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to those who have delivery experience
• Must have a minimum Class 1 license
• Advanced knowledge of the city
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must have excellent problem solving skills and attention to details
• Must be able to lift up to 50Ibs
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
